Ideas for 100 day collections.

My DS did this in first grade, and I sent him in with 100 Boxtops for Education. We had been collecting them, and it was time to send them in anyway! His teacher thought it was a good idea!:)

I just remembered I think he did it in 2nd grade too...We took a picture of him outside, in his coat and hat, at night, pointing up to the sky. We cut around the picture, glued it to black posterboard, and he put 100 star stickers on the poster board. We used some of the stars to make the number 100. It was cute...it looked like he was pointing to the stars. His teacher loved it!!

When my 18 yo DD was in kindergarten we had the bright idea of drawing and naming 100 people that she knows.

What a stupid a idea! She had enough after 25 but insisted on doing it.
It was a week of nightmare trying to sit her down and draw 100 people.

....probably would have been easier to draw TEN people and count all their FINGERS! ;)

DS made a belt with 100 rubber bands when he was in the second grade. They had a fashion show and had to write up a description. His belt "featured an expandable waist band so that one size fits all."

:rotfl: very clever!

When my son had to do this, we found 100 Lego men heads and put them all together in a long line. It was unique and easy. (He had plenty of Lego sets to pull them from).
