Ideal World's Disney Extravaganza

Hi,

Did anyone else watch this show last night on Ideal World (Channel 635 on Sky Digital)?

Some of the things that they had for sale were just amazing. They had some Walt Disney Collectors Society Pieces and tons of Disney memorabilia and great character merchandise - The Winnie the Pooh, Goofy and Mickey talking and moving lamps were great.

They also had some original limited edition sericles and drawings ($$$$$!). They had some cheaper stuff too though.

I highly recommend tuning in, in the future if you missed it - The host 'Watter'? is great fun.

I'll make sure I do that next time it's on.

It is only on occasionaly (when they can get enough stock) but I think it works out about once every 2 months or so.

It is always on a Sunday Night between 10pm - 12midnight so it's worth finding out on a Sunday morning to see if it is on.

Yep we're regular watchers of those couple of hours. Its worth watching just for the presenter Steve Watters. We've only ever bought one thing off the show so far, but have wanted to get loads more.

Luckily, we know of a shop which we go past occationally which sell those lovely RESIN (not ceramic Mr Whatters) models so we get them there as tend to be a tad cheaper.

Its only by luck that we catch the show, I wish they'd give a bit of warning, I wrote to the station some while ago to ask if they would flag it for us but they said they couldn't. We'll just have to put a post on here when we hear of the next one. I have noticed though, that its always on a Sunday night in the 10pm spot

The presenter is great, isn't he. I too wish they would give some prior notice instead of just putting it on with little or no advertisment. Everything seemed to sell out so fast though, there either must be loads of viewers or they have very few stocks of the items.

Did you watch the Watters Crazeee Christmas Show with him before Christmas last year? He is such an hilarious presenter and the Christmas Decorations that they have are really good value compared with garden centres.

Yep Whatters Crazeeeee Christmas was required viewing in our household, they started in August. Didn't buy anything (though have from some of the other programmes) but his enthusiasm is great

I have been watching Steve Whatley since he first appeared on QVC The Shopping Channel about ten years ago. He then moved to Ideal World three years ago. He is a one-off! He is so enthusiastic and asks the questions you really want the answer to when he has guests with him. I have purchased many things over the years from both shopping channels and have always been impressed with the value and quality (no, they are not paying me to say this!).
