I'd sell my soul...

For an ultra-wide angle zoom for my T2i. Unfortunately, I have less money to spend on a lens than I have soul.

What's the best buy out there for an UWA; preferably zoom, for a T2i Rebel? I'd like to have IS or its equivilent in another brand (non-Canon) but it's not a deal-breaker.

I'm saving up my quarters to get one for my December trip. I just got back last night from a week and cussed the whole time for not having already bought one.

I THOROUGHLY enjoyed my nifty-fifty though. I learned a lot by making myself use just that lens for a couple of days. LOVED it on dark rides.

It had to happen. I guess this has finally been asked enough times that everyone has just decided they aren't going to answer it any more.

What do you want it for primarily? And by zoom, how much zoom did you want?

The Tokina "zooms" from 11-16, which isn't much, but it has the constant 2.8. The Canon UWA goes from 10-20, but you lose the 2.8.
