This sounds like a silly question, but I'm hoping someone here might have had experience with this. I leave for WDW next Friday (9/25), and last night, my wallet was stolen. Of course, it contained my ID...all of my ID since I no longer have a valid passport. I can get a temporary driver's lic. before I leave, but it's only a paper copy that's for use until my hard plastic copy arrives in the mail in about 2-3 weeks. It does have a photo though.
Checking the TSA ID requirements, it states that any state issued DL is acceptable as long as it meets "REAL ID benchmarks". Exactly what does that mean and will my temporary DL have those benchmarks?
My only other option is to get a new military ID since I haven't gotten one since my DH retired from the AF. That's do-able, but more troublesome.

(Not the good stuff, though, never let them know that you are in possession of the good stuff....)
