ID Holders from Walmart..anyone found them

I have read alot about people getting ID holders from Walmart but I can't seem to find them here in Ontario....anyone else found them???

Nope but I am looking too. I read on another board that they were located in the jewelry area at Wal-Mart but I couldn't find them anywhere. I guess we will both keep looking. I'll post if I find them anywhere.

Well that is more then what I knew before...I was just aimlessly walking around walmart....lol

I will check the jewellery areas of my local walmarts and keep you informed.

I've looked in the fishing department too and haven't found them.
Last time I used the plastic case from the bank that holds your bank book and punched a hole in the top and strung a lanyard from the dollar store on it. Sometimes you can get id holders from insurance agents too. Supposed to hold your insurance card but I haven't gotten any of those either. Has anyone tried CAA?

You could also try a business supply store (i.e. Staples or Grand & Toy) - that's where I got mine.

Check in the luggage departments. That's where I found some at Sears.

well I checked every store possible on Sat...I never did so much shopping and not come away with anything....lol

I am stumped....I can't find them anywhere

Now I am getting mad! I went to two different malls in London yesterday on a quest for ID holders - nothing! I hit every store that I thought might even remotely have them! At one point I saw these two men walking around wearing them, I think they were tourists. If I was thinking I should have offered to buy them from them! I have tried fishing supplies, hunting supplies and anywhere else. I think I give up and will just carry our stuff in my wallet but that's a pain when you need your ID or tickets for FP. I did find some really flimsy ones at Staples but they didn't do up at the top.

I've tried everywhere too. I think I'm going to have to hit the mall and check out these luggage/purse places. I'm going to try my CAA office too.

Saw some for passports in the REGAL catalogue...You know, they sell door to door like AVON...

When we got our Niagara Falls pass to do the 5 for one price, CAA gave us holders(last year). It hangs around your neck, is black and said Niagara Falls on it. I got them from the CAA my sister works out of in Stoney Creek/Hamilton office.

Finally, located something I can use! I went into my CAA office to order triptiks for our trip and they had what is called a child's id holder. It is in a box and is designed for a child to wear around their neck or on their arm. It sounds weird but it has a zippered pocket with a clear front which is perfect for carrying our tickets etc. It has velcro straps which are supposed to go around the child's arm but they fold flat so won't bother me (I may cut them off). I won't be wearing it around my neck but in my backpack pocket so I have easy access to it. It was only about $3.50 (membership price). I also got a neat bag to use - like a small backpack but with loads of zippered compartment that all my stuff will fit in. I remember last year in August it was so hot my nylon backpack felt yuck on my back - this one is smaller and lighter.

Unfortunatley, I don't have a picture. I am just looking for something to put around your neck to carry ID money etc. I would prefer the waterproof ones like you use to be able to get at Blizzard Beach.

I think I may have seen something similar to what you are looking for in a luggage shop in the Dufferin Mall... I can't remember if it was there exactly or at Oakville Place mall... I can picture being inside the store and picking something like that up and thinking how great it would be for my passport and money when travelling.

Now I'm bothered too. I think I will be taking a trip to the Dufferin Mall in the not-so-distant future and report back.

Okay, I just took my lunch from work and I walked across the street to the Metro Concourse (Wellington/John) and I went into a store there called "Bentley's", beside Reitmans and across from La Senza, anyway, they have these "Air Canada" white polyester ID and money holders with a cord that goes around your neck and have 2 zipper pockets. They are $9.99.
Is that what you're after???
