ID check with Park Entrance?

I have had a slight change in plans for how long my DBF can stay during our trip. He was slotted to stay the full 10 days with us, is paid for on the package, but now with the new job will only be there four days.

My daughters boyfriend wanted to join us for 7 days, but is not on the package (I have 4 people on the package and two rooms). During checking, can I have my daughters boyfriend be assigned the Key to the Kingdom for my Boyfriend or do they check id (I know biometrics) when you check in and enter the parks?

If I could do that then my daughters boyfriend will just purchase a 4 day park hopper for my boyfriend, or should I just see if Disney will allow my to add another person to the package and just eat the wasted ticket days?

Or can they be turned in for extra things for our days, like the water park or disney quest?

Call Disney and ask them. You will get 20 different opinion here and probably none will be exactly correct. Call Central Reservations or whoever you booked your trip with for the answer!

You should be able to get the name switched over at check in, have your daughter's boyfriend use the "package" ticket, and then purchase a sepperate 4 day ticket or 4 day package for your boyfriend.
