Are there Dunkin Donuts in the area?

Sleepy Hollow in MK has iced cappuccino that was excellent. I had a frozen latte at the Main Street Bakery but it was too sweet for my taste. I also believe that Writer's Stop at DHS has iced lattes and iced cappuccino but I didn't want to wait in line.

I was in a little culture shock when I was at Disney because being from Seattle I pass 3 starbucks in the mile and a half from my home to my work. I had to search to find a good java fix.

They also serve it in a kitchen and food store right near Sci fi in DHS. It was good :)

There are some DDs that are outside the park...not many though and they are at least 15 mins away I think. I'll be bringing my coffee with me and making it in the room so I don't have DD withdrawals during vacation.:rotfl:

I wish that Disney would have more - and better - coffee options...both in the parks and in the resorts.

we had something near the exit in AK that was almost like having a coffee coolata.......frozen and POTENT.....delicious I can tell yo uthat.

They have pretty good iced coffee at Picabu at the Dolphin. I had it every morning of our trip last month.

The Kona coffee bar at the Poly will make you an ice coffee if you ask. The Writer's Stop in HS also has ice coffee, I think. There are espresso stands all over World Showcase in Epcot that I think also has ice coffee, and I know they have a fabulous frozen mocha. There is a McDonald's on Osceola and Buena Vista, and there is a Dunkin' at 192 and Sherberth/Entry Point.

We always go to the Dunks on 192 and Sherberth. We are from Boston, and everyone around these parts knows America runs on Dunkin!

Disney also has carts around the parks now that sell all sorts of coffee related drinks. There is one just outside the entrance at AK. By the ToT exit in MGM, and in front of Mission Space at Epcot. I'm sure there are others, but those are the only ones I can think of off the top of my head.

I live on coffee - I'm a Java addict. I've heard that there is not much of a selection at WDW and that the coffee at many of the resorts are not that great...I'm nervous!

Be clear about what you want. I asked for an iced coffee in the Main Street Bakery and got some kind of frappucino drink. :lmao:
I went back in line and got a coffee and a cup with ice.

I know its not the same but, if you ask for a coffee and a large cup of ice they will give you the ice for no charge. This was the closest that I could get to an iced coffee while in WDW.

I am an ice coffee addict, and the McDonalds on Buena Vista Drive is probably the only place that does it "properly." By properly, I mean chilling the coffee first before serving over ice. While there are many places on property that can make ice coffee, they all basically take hot coffee and pour it over ice, thus diluting the coffee and making it watered down...

Thanks all for the great info!!!

I think I will bring my onw, brew it the night before when I goto bed, get some ice and sugar, and a big cup!!!

Hilarious! I opened this thread for the express purpose of warning them, based on your experience. I can still remember the look on your face when you asked what I thought of when I heard the words "iced coffee."

Been a while since I bumped into you on the DIS, Bill.
