When I was there last time I do not recall seeing iced coffee served anywhere. Can anyone confirm this? We are staying at ASsp and then switching to the Dolphin. I like my coffee just as much as the next gal, however in the heat I can only handle iced coffee. Anyone???

I couldn't find any iced coffee anywhere back in Aug 2004. Finally, by the end of the week, I couldn't take it anymore. While at MGM, I went into Starring Rolls and asked, ever so politely, if they would put the same amount of coffee they would put in a small cup into a large cup and provide me with a cup of ice. I sat down, put a very small amount of ice into the coffee. When you do this only that amount of ice waters down the coffee, but it get the temp down. Then I added more ice, my cream and sugar, and viola! I got my fix! Grant it, it wasn't great, but it was better than nothing.

I just realized you'll be at the Dolphin. Purchase a nice cup of the Starbucks coffee they serve there at night. Be sure to get a cover. Keep it covered until morning, then ice it down. I don't like the Nescafe stuff they sell in the Disney resorts, otherwise I'd do that everynight.

I couldn't take the heat last year and drink hot coffee either. I ended up having frozen coke from the food court every morning in my mug which my DH thought was disgusting because hey it helped to cool me off.

Hmm...so I guess they really don't sell iced coffee...weird, huh? Especially in that heat you would think it would be a staple!

Thank you 3Princessmom for the tip on the Starbucks coffee at the Dolphin (yeah Starbucks!). We will have a car towards the end of the trip, so at least I can go offsite then and get some...

Ice coffee isn't typically listed on the menu boards but I have found in many places, three that I can think of off hand, that if you ask them they may have it.

In particular, they have it at the coffee/pastry booth between Canada and UK in the World Showcase at Epcot (just outside of what was Millenium Village entrance) and I have also gotten it at 2 of the coffee stands at AK. I remember getting it at the stand before you go into the security lines and also the coffee stand on the right after you go over the bridge and are facing the Tree of Life.

In MK there was a stand just to the left of the tea cups that had a great iced cappucino but when we were there in April, I found it to be closed both days.

Hope that helps since I know I'm always scoping these drinks out myself! :coffee:

Thank you Lori that is VERY helpful info! :thumbsup2

Italy in epcot has it. I purchased two frozen cappucino's (sp?) there last time I went.

You can also get iced coffee at Fountainview in Epcot, at Kona Cafe in the Polynesian and in the Writer's Stop in the Studios (next to Sci Fi).

Frozen cappuccino drinks are easier to find but I don't like those as much. Too sweet not enough coffee flavor. Plus I prefer real coffee over ice as opposed to the slushy texture.

I am definitely an iced coffee drinker, too. I'll be staying at the Swan this time so I'll report back in August on any additional iced coffee offerings.

I had this problem a few years ago and posted about it. Some nice Diser provided me with a list of iced and frozen coffee concoctions and where to find them. There are a lot in Epcot, but can be found in other parks as well. I've seen it on a lot more menu boards in kiosks around the parks than I used to. If I come across my list, I'll post it later. It's in my Disney stuff somewhere......

Thank you very much for the
ICED COFFEE
tips as I am a starbucks /dunkins addict and how that the Nescafe stuff does not kill me.
Maybe I will suck it up in the morning and wait to get to the park to have some........ :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Wish this post existed 2 weeks ago before my trip :guilty: . The coffee guy nest Indy in MGM didn't know of any place there with iced coffee. Now I'll be ready for our return trip next May!!

We've had this same issue every time we go to WDW. They always try to give me iced cappucino which is not what I want. So, what I do is just ask for a tall cup of ice filled with black coffee and then add some milk (I don't use any sweetener). It's not the same as Dunkins but will do! :yay:

There is a stand that sells it in Epcot, just before Mexico, coming from Future World. There is also a stand that sells it in MGM, just inside the entrance to the right.

What about the coffee place on the right just outside the AK? Or the new tea place inside the AK?

The tea place inside AK does too.
