Was talking to a wine presenter at the F&W festival last november and found out that wine labeled as vin glace (sp?) is actually ripe grapes that are quick frozen after they are picked and made into wine as opposed to icewine which freezes on the vine and it then picked and made into wine. would think that the first would be cheaper but may not taste as intense as the real icewine
