Icewine in the mail???? Big NO NO. Shipping alcohol via USPS is against the law. I believe only Fed Ex ships alcohol legally.

Since yesterday was Sunday, USPS would have been impossible. I feel sure she didn't break any federal laws in the process of procuring the sweet nectar. If she had, IW would be worth the risk.

Any idea what the laws are about shipping internationally? I'd love to ship out some fine Scottish whisky and in some delicious Ice Wine. It would be like a little taste of Epcot ever day!

Not entirley true. Express mail offers Sunday delivery, processing facilities, and some PO boxes can be accessed. And certain retail locations regional have been/are open on Sundays.

I tried ice wine for the first time last year because I was intrigued with the whole process of making it. I bought an overly sweet bottle and did not enjoy it. Any one know a good ice wine that isn't overly sweet for our upcoming trip?
