Ice Machines?

Are there free ice machines in each loop like other resorts or do you have to buy ice? Staying at a partial in a tent.

If you plan to leave the Fort at all - it's cheaper at local grocery stores like Winn-Dixie, etc....

It's $2 a bag and they are not very big bags or big cubes. Doesn't last well. If you have a small dorm size refrig you can get your hands on, you might want to bring one!

The machines are unpredictable to. They supply a 7lb fill bag, but I put in $2 and only received about 2lbs. Best bet...buy at the trading posts.

If you buy it in the machines you will need quarters. A change machine is located in the laundry room at each comfort station in case you don't have enough quarters.

We stayed in a tent last year and had a Blast! We were in the 2000 loop(Spanish Moss) if i`m remembering correctly. The ice machines cost money but overfilled the bags provided. We had a freezer bag from sams-club that i used. We had a blast!; Hope you do as well!

We are currently in the 200 loop and this ice machine needs coaxing to fill the entire 7lb bag (it does fill it but there is a missing front metal piece that needs to be in place before it will, otherwise you get about 2lbs :-(
but $2 is not bad for what you get....
