I was wondering, is ice available at the fort?

Yep, two dollars a bag at the comfort station in a machine, quarters only. Only lasts about 1/2 a day at the most even in the best coolers.

Meadows trading post has bags that are frozen a bit harder for about $2.12 including tax. Those will last about 95% of a day.

One suggestion is take a cooler with you and put it under the dispenser since the machines actually put out like 1 1/3 of the bags there and if not you will loose a lot of ice for your $2.

That is true on some loops, but in the 1500/1600 ice machine a couple of weeks ago, it was only giving about 1/2 bag for your $2.

Whatever you use, make sure that the bag or cooler is under the dispenser before you put your money in. If you don't, your $2 worth of ice will end up on the ground.
