ICE @ Gaylord Palms

No but you'll need it to cover the parking. That alone was $9.00 on top of the admission for the show it'self.

At the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, there are a whopping $3.00 off coupons on 2 litre Coke bottles. Might want to check around for that.

We got a $2 off coupon at Cracker Barrel. It can be used for up to 4 adults...
It also says "save even more with our new online advance purchase ticket available..." So you might want to try that.

:sunny: Thanks Chrissi Pooh!!! Your coupon code tip along with buying online saved me $7!!! Enough to buy parking!

ICE! at Gaylord Palms
An Exciting Highlight of Best of Florida Christmas at Gaylord Palms

November 18, 2006 - January 2, 2007
Open daily, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Who says the holidays in Florida are all about palm trees and sunshine? Prepare for the coolest winter on record as Gaylord Palms™ Resort presents ICE! An instant dose of winter, this spectacle is made from nearly two million pounds of ice!

This year, ICE! will reflect the theme "A Season of Wishes", featuring several new and revised scenes, including a walk-through holiday train depot with a locomotive to explore inside and out!

Other scenes will include a Victorian holiday home with a life-sized horse-drawn carriage you can sit in, the whimsical Santa's Toyland, and a majestic Church in the Woods. Back by popular demand, the breathtaking life-size nativity carved completely of crystal-clear ice. And, of course, three fantastic ice slides will return amid a towering Christmas Castle.

Put away the flip-flops, this event is a chilly 9 degrees! But, don't worry, we've got plenty of parkas to keep you warm!

Your ICE! experience continues throughout the resort, with Best of Florida Christmas at Gaylord Palms, a celebration of the holidays in the Sunshine State.

ICE! will be open daily from November 18, 2006 - January 2, 2007, including holidays. Tickets for ICE! are on sale now, and can be purchased online by clicking HERE, or through the ICE! box office at 407-586-4-ICE. For the BEST DEAL on ICE! tickets, buy online!

NOTE: ICE! is kept at a frigid 9 degrees. Be sure to dress appropriately; closed toe shoes and long pants are required. Hooded parkas will be provided for your warmth and comfort inside the exhibit.

We are going to see ICE in 2 weeks in Orlando.

What about the coupon at Cracker Barrel? Can I just go into a Cracker Barrel and pick up a coupon?? :confused3

If you have seen ICE this year, how did you like it? We will be going on Wednesday 12/13 in the afternoon so I am hoping it is not too crowded. Also, has anyone eaten lunch at Gaylord Palms - any recommendations?

EDITED TO ADD: I am going to post this question about coupons over on the budget board. I'll come back with any answers I get that might help.

Darn, I just called our Cracker Barrel and they said they don't have any coupons for ICE. :confused3

Just returned from our trip to WDW and we stopped to see ICE! on the way. It was fantastic!! We loved it and the hotel is unbelievable, too. We were there last Wednesday and it wasn't crowded at all. Also, the admission price is a little less during the week - higher on weekends. You can get a senior citizen discount if you are over 55. After we went thru the exhibit they gave us a coupon for free hot cocoa and $3.00 off parking. :thumbsup2

This would only work if you had your own car - but while driving past the blood bank they were offering 50% off tickets for those who donated blood.

We saw Ice last year and it was neat - definitely a lot smaller than what we had thought it was - just prepare yourself for it to not be very big. The ice slides were very cool!
