Ice Cubes?

Whats the deal with the "glowing" ice cubes? Friends just came back from WDW with different color "glowing cubes. Does each restaurant have them? What is the cost? We are going in May, & I would love any & all info you might have on them.

Also does anyone know whats in them? I mean, can it potentially break & leak something not so healthy out?

csmommy - you can buy these same "electric" ice cubes online at either www.bluetrackcompany.com (3 for $9.95) or www.coolstuff.com (8 for $27) - they come in red, blue, clear, green & yellow

when my husband & i were in wdw this past september, they were for sale at both the sci-fi and the 50s prime time - didn't buy them (when it was explained to us that they only "light-up" for a around 12 total hours) - really cute, though

My DD just found her ice cube from 11/02. I gave it a good whack on its side and BAM it came on. It has lasted for longer than 12 hrs. She has been playing with it again for a week, its a great nite light, wish I could find a replacement battery for it!!
