Ice cream social?

Does this still exist? I read about it on here when I was planning my trip for this past March, but the Land was closed for refurbishment. Can anyone tell me if the ice cream social is back, and if so, can I make PS?

To the best of my knowlede, they stopped that when they reopened/ changed the menu. Sorry.

I am not so sure they stopped this. The best way to know would be to call Disney and ask about a reservation.

We did the ice cream social in 2002. It was great. It wasn't crowded, the characters kept coming back again and again and again. The kids had a great time...and the ice cream was good too.

We were in Disney the last week of April. Once in Epcot, we went straight to The Garden Grille to find out if they were still doing the character ice cream social. We went straight up to the cast members and were told "No". As of that time, they definitely were NOT doing it anymore. My kids truly miss it.

Someone posted on the restaurant board that the old menu is coming back next week. So maybe the Ice Cream Social will too. We were going to try it last year but thought it was a little pricey for just Ice cream even though the characters were there. I'd rather put the money toward a full meal.
