ice cream social?

I read something on here about an ice cream sundae social w/characters.. where is this and can I make PS? I'll be in WDW March 5-12...

The Ice Cream Social is held in the land pavillion in Epcot. The only problem is that the pavillion is closed from Jan 2-March 31st while the new Soarin attraction is finished. Here is a link to Deb's site that has info on the social maybe you can do it on your next trip (it is a lot of fun and you get a lot of great charchter interaction (Plus the sundaes are fabulous)).

Oh, you have to do this! It was one of the most magical things that I remember from our trip a couple of years ago. Chip, Dale, Pluto, and Farmer Mickey all entertained us quite well. Dale was a hoot for sure. He lifted a walkie talkie from our bag and began calling Mickey and sharing it with the waitresses. OMG, it was just too cute. Oh...and the icecream was good too.

We enjoyed the social.. it was a nice break in a hot day and because it was so quiet there, the characters came around twice and spent lots of time..

Ice cream was 'just okay' very plain.. needs some jazzing up IMO

I second the ice cream social.

I've read wonderful things about it and I plan to take my ice cream loving daughter to it on her birthday this April.

I also read about a re-hitching ceremony that you can request when you book with the CM. It sounded so fun that I think I'll see if DH and I can do this too.

I didn't know that so many of the other characters would be there too...that's great!
