Ice Cream Social

How is the character interaction at the Ice Cream social? Is it as good as at a regular character meal? Also, can we d the re-hitching ceremony? I'd like to surprise DH.

We did the ICS in March. It was unbelievably GREAT!!!!

1. It is without a doubt the cheapest character dining (at $6.95 pp). They serve vanilla ice cream in a cone upside down on a cookie with chocolate (YUMMY!).

2. The character interaction is amazing. We saw each of the characters at least twice and Chip even played hide and seek with my DD while I was packing up. My DD still refers to Chip as her "boyfriend".

3. I also wanted to do the re-hitching ceremony, but when I made the PS, the CM had no idea what I was talking about (nor did her supervisor). I should have asked when we got to the restaurant, but with everything going on I forgot.

We are going back on 7/15. I will let you know then about the re-hitching ceremony (this time I will remember to ask).

Here's an opposite opinion-We thought it was the biggest rip off! It was definitely the most expensive glorified ice cream cone we have ever eaten and it wasn't even that "yummy". For the price, I would have expected at least a hot fudge sundae. I think the character lunch is a better value for the money. Since the ice cream social happens at the same time as lunch, we sat there watching all these platters of food going by and had to be satisfied with our plain vanilla, freeze dried, old tasting ice cream on a yucky cookie!
