Ice Cream for Dessert at Typhoon Lagoon?

Can you get ice cream as a dessert on the DDP at TL? If so, where, and can you come back for it after lunch (so it doesn't melt into a puddle)? Thank you!

They used to allow you to come back and get your ice cream but last summer when we asked we had to get the ice cream when we purchased our CS meal (this was at Leaning Palms) they wouldn't allow it the other way. Could have just been the CM we had--anyone else have a different experience.

When we went in Sept 08 (both parks), you could get ice cream with your cs meal (get receipt and come back for it). Went again (Typhoon lagoon) in Sept 09 and they didn't even allow you to get ice cream anymore, had to be either the chocolate cake or cheesecake. That was sooo disappointing, who wants cake at a waterpark, ice cream is much more appropriate! When I look at some of the menus now, they don't even list ice cream, just the two kinds of cakes.

Summer of '09 we got ice cream as our dessert but like others we had to get it when we got our meal, this was at TL as well. So of course we had to eat dessert first because it was melting, not that I mind dessert first, lol, but it was very difficult trying to balance the tray of food and drinks and ice cream cones and making sure my youngest didn't drop his, not too happy.
