Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches?

Has anyone had the ice cream cookie sandwiches from the MK Main Street Ice Cream Parlor? Tell me more!

Yes & dreaming of another when we go back!! They are incredible!! Two huge choc chip cookie w/a giant scoop of ice cream. I shared w/my 2 little kids & there was plenty for all of us. I'm picky about my cookies & these were just great - soft w/a little crunch, melty chips. mmmmmmm

My mouth is watering just thinking about them. I was disappointed the first time I ordered it b/c they did not have chocolate ice cream but I am glad I had the vanilla b/c of the huge, soft and delicious chocolate chips.

The last time I was in MK I got one at a shop between Fantasy Land and Frontier Land. YUMMY

Unless it's changed you can them at the bakery and get vanilla ice cream with a choice of cookies or in the ice cream parlor with a choice of ice cream flavors but a more limited selection of cookies.

I've had vanilla with white chocolate macadamia cookies and vanilla with toll house chip cookies. OMG! Fabulous! The Toll House ones were the best because the cookies were still slightly warm. It's very filling, so if you don't share it, you might not want one right before or after a meal, even a light one. I prefer these sandwiches to Dole Whips and even Mickey bars- my favorite in-MK treat.

Be prepared to be called "Costanza".

The sandwich can get very messy, with ice cream and chocolate on your hands and all around your mouth. There is so much ice cream in the middle that it's hard to get your mouth around, and it's so big that's hard to eat it before it starts to melt.

They have these at the Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square too. YUMMY!!! This is a must have snack for me each visit. It's also a nice little area to sit and cool down at too.

The last time I had the ice cream sandwich at Sleepy Hollow they had premeasured ice cream slapped between the cookies. Not like Main Street bakery at all where they piled up the ice cream.
Then again I had it really late at night during the 3hr EMH after the parade. Maybe we hit it at the wrong time.
The cookies were really soggy too, not yummy at all.
Maybe we were just unlucky, but I will stick to MS bakery from now on...

I like the ones on Main Street better than Sleepy Hollow. Sleepy Hollow's are pre-made.

On Main Street, you can get 2 different cookies, the top cookie and the bottom cookie can be different - I think. Although they did not have a large selection of cookies - I think. hmmm I keep thinking today.

A question - is this item on the DDP - is it a snack credit?

Actually - we had them at Main Street Bakery and the cookies were not warm - the ones at Sleepy Hollow the ice cream is pre measured bu the cookies are warm so they are not really pre made like frozen in a cart - so it just depend on what u want - they are both good. I just like a warm cookie and maybe it depends on when you get them - I will have to try the differnt ice cream flavors

I did see where someone had used their snack credits to get one so unless the price went up you should be ok. I think you can use the snack credit for a lot of stuff in the ice cream parlor and most the stuff in the bakery too!
