Does anyone know where in each park (if in each park) you can get the homemade ice cream cookie sandwhiches. The ones where you can pick the cookie and ice cream... Also what choices do you have as far as cookie and Ice cream. Thanks for any info!!! Looking forward to getting one!!

The best one is at Sleepy Hollow in the MK, fresh warm cookies and a brick of ice cream. I don't know where else you can get the homemade one, at other places it's mainly pre-packaged.

I just had an ice cream cookie sandwich about a week ago at Sleepy Hollow in MK. I was unaware there was a choice about type of cookie or ice cream & the CM made no mention of any choice. It was comprised of two huge chocolate chip cookies & vanilla ice cream - very good!!

At Sleepy Hollow, I am pretty sure you don't get a choice. It is just two chocolate chip cookie and a hunk of vanilla ice cream...wonderful though. I believe at Main Street Bakery you get a choice or you used to of cookies and ice cream, but I am not sure what the choices are excatly.

I am not aware of this being offered at any other parks other than MK. You can get premade ones at ice carts and stuff. They used to serve the homemade ice cream sandwiches at Chip and Dale's cookie cabin, but I'm not sure that is open anymore. Last time I was there it appeared closed.

There is an ice cream place in Epcot (Future World). I can't think of the name of it at the moment, and I don't have time to look for my maps. I know that you can choose the ice cream flavor, and I'm pretty sure that there were a couple of cookie choices as well. Both my kids had chocolate chip cookies with mint chocolate chip ice cream, so I am not positive about the cookie choice. They are HUGE, and we definitely should have bought one to split. Of course, if I had suggested splitting one, they never would have been able to agree on flavors. :rotfl:

Main Street Bakery in the MK has them, chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream.

there used to be a place in the Animal Kingdom that made them near the Lion King show, but I haven't been over that way in a long time
(this may be the Chip and Dale's place the PP was referring to)

I'm pretty sure this would have been the Fountainview Cafe.

You can also make your own at the buffets but its not the same. CP had 4 different kinds of cookies and chocolate and vanilla soft serve. We saw many people making their own.

I love the ones from Main Street in MK

Yep, Chip and Dale's cookie cabin was at AK near the Lion King. They only had the chocolate chip cookies with vanilla though. When I was there in March, the building was still there but not open.

we had one from main street bakery (5/05) - when we ordered it we thought we were getting one of those pre-made cello wrapped versions! boy were we happily surprised!!

We got them in August from the bakery at the MK they were awesome and only a snack credit :cool1: My DD 5 had one to herself and it had to be as big as her head.:rotfl2: Made for a great pic.
there wasnt a choice though just yummy choc chip cookies and vanilla icecream (3 scoops)

We were so sad to see the ice cream cookie sandwiches from Chip N Dale's cookie cabin disappear! They were a tradition on our trips to Animal Kingdom! That's why we were so excited to accidently find the same treats on the Dino Bite Snacks (located next to Restaurantosauras) menu:

Ice Cream Cookie Sandwich - Vanilla ice cream served between fresh baked cookies: Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Raisin or Sugar $3.99

They are amazing! :worship:

Is there much of a difference between Sleepy Hollow's and Main Street Bakery's?
