Ice Breakers Warning! Swallowing Gum

So I had a good laugh.. I am studying for finals... (well I should be ) And I got a pack of Ice Breakers Ice Cubes with Raspberry flavoring. Well I did not realize it was gum, until I put a second one in my mouth and realized that the texture tastes weird to be a piece of candy.. So I looked at the packaging and sure enough it is gum!

So if you or your kids have this be careful to not swallow..


I guess I am getting a dead brain and need a brean break from all of this studying!

One of 2 things will happen:

1) Your appendix will burst from holding the gum

2) It'll be in your stomach forever because it never digests



Kidding! Those are the reasons my mom gave to scare us off chewing gum. We didn't want to accidently swallow it and then have those horrible things happen.

There is nothing wrong with swallowing gum.

I know that there is nothing wrong with swalloing gum! I just thought that I would give a word of warning because it looked just like candy lol!

Ice Breakers makes both gum and mints, once I thought I was getting mints but it was the gum. Oh well, both are good. enjoy your gum OP

1. There is NO danger in swallowing gum (beyond the general choking hazard that accompanies swallowing anything).

2. What person puts even a non-gum piece of candy in their mouth and swallows it whole without chewing?? Nobody, right? So again, should not be a problem.

I'd forgotten about the watermelon tree in the tummy warning. I never ate watermelon as a kid. As an adult, it's not so awful.

As for my my mom she also told us that if you held a boy's hand you'd get pregnant. I never dated until late in my junior year. Turns out you don't get pregnant from hand holding.
