I've been checking prices for our 2013 trip and I have a question about Iberia Airlines. I know that Iberia has a code share with AA and BA. So my question is if the results for the flight search show Iberia Airlines with either partly owned by AA or BA will we fly on Iberia planes or AA or BA planes? I've never booked flights as a code share and so I don't really understand how it operates If that makes any sort of sense! :confused3

Thanks in advance for any help! :goodvibes

It usually tells you which airline you are flying with. If its direct from London to MCO then its BA, Iberia don't fly that route, if its via a Spanish airport it will be transatlantic with Iberia (LON to Spain could be either, I don't follow the routes to Spain)

If you post dates and times of flights I will check.

So if I'm flying from MAN to MCO will that be with BA? We're flying out on the 9th Aug and returning on the 30th. Most of the searches I've done keep coming up with Iberia!

Iberia indirect or Direct?

I just looked at those dates( a very quick search), cheapest option(£831) I saw was Iberia indirect via ORD (Chicago) All 4 legs on this route are on AA planes.

Another same price is via Miami they are again AA planes.

Direct are on BA planes but look to be £1,120pp

If you search on Kayak.co.uk goto your chosen flight and click on Detail it then expands and shows times, airports & who the flight is operated by.

Sorry forgot to add indirect. I'll have a look on Kayak!
Thanks again Wayne! :thumbsup2 :goodvibes
