Frustrated. I hate hate hate waiting to book my flights and i cannot get a good roundtrip price for my May 2011 trip to the world. I have to believe im a little early in booking and prices will come down some. I check religously several times a day everday. Its eating me up inside because i want to book my tickets sooo bad. Just trying to calm down thats all lol

What are your dates in May, and how much are you willing to pay.

And are you limited to IAD? Or can you also look at BWI or DCA? With 3 major airports in the vicinity you might be able to discover one airport might have cheaper flights than another. (of course, if you are locked into one particular airline, that may not be an option.)

You are early. Wait, be patient. At 5 mos out I got antsy and booked out of DCA on USAir and it was a horror show of a trip that left me sitting on a plane bullied and humiliated. Air Tran will hook you up in a couple of months.

Well im willing to pay anything actually, im just hoping for around $79 dollars each way. I fly out May 14th and come back the 22nd. Im not locked into IAD, ive been checking DCA and BWI. I really wanna do either SW or Jetblue because of the free baggage fees. Im just waiting to see what happens. I know i need to be patient its just hard. IM such a planner unfortunatly.

You should be able to find that fare on either of those carriers. Just hang tight.

So yea i choked and bought my tickets. I was watching all the other airlines go up and the evening flight went up but mine was still the same so i got scared and booked anyway. Flying Jetblue for the first time have always flown southwest but they no longer do direct out of dulles so i got my flights and if the prices come down ill get my credit which will give me another excuse for another vacation.

I fly JB out of IAD all of the time. Just wanted to mention that SW no longer flys non-stop out of IAD, so you would have to change planes if you flew with them. I'm not bought my May tickets jet.

I also fly out of IAD to MCO using JetBlue. JetBlue is constantly changing their prices.

If you fly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, you can get very good prices. Most of their advertised sales for IAD to MCO flights involve Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Also, I found out for our upcoming trip with 4 people(on the same reservation)...I was looking for a return flight. The price was $69 per person. However, I ended up booking separate reservations each with a party of 2. The price was $10 cheaper per person doing it with the separate reservations!!

We love JetBlue.

n2mm dont know if you intersted in DCA and Airtran but they have to nonstop flights today for $59 each way. The times didnt work for me so i couldnt book them but may work for you. Even with baggage fees thats still a real good price.

thanks, reagan is too far for us. we are in WV/Charles Town. Dulles is about 1 hour, so the closest. We are in WDW right now, so I never seem to get enough.

Well guess what you and i are close. I live in winchester VA which is just west of berryville and i work in Martinsburg so we are practically neighbors. I go up often to the race track to gamble sometimes. Have fun on your trip.

And I live in Berryville and work in Winchester :). What a small world...I guess Disney had it right with that ride!!!

We usually fly out of BWI but just found round trip tix on Delta from DCA-MCO for 138/person. Never flown out of DCA before but it will save us over $400 so we're willing to try it.
