Today is International Ataxia Awareness Day (IAAD)
I have Friedreichs Ataxia. My family and I had the first Walk n Roll for Ataxia in Omaha, Nebraska today. FA is a horrible, progressive, life shortening disease. I was diagnosed when I was 20, am 31 now and 100% wheelchair bound. FA sucks guys, its very rare. So, my point is: Be aware.
