I sent WDW a long detailed letter describing the wonderful things about my Feb. trip. I complimented them on their handicapped rooms at the CSR, and ESPECIALLY the kindness of the CM at RnR. It was a pretty long letter, a full page typed.

Anyway, I included my name, address, phone number, e-mail, and cell number. For some reason I put my old home numner on there (I got married 1 year ago). Honest mistake. Anyway when my parents got home there was a LONG message from WDW on their voicemail. It was sooooooooooo nice!

I am really tempted to write them again thanking them for the call. The caller identified herself so I would have someone specific to address. Should I?

I find this so funny because someone in another forum mentioned a CM told them they get so many complaint letters that they can't answer them all, and it was months before they got a call. I sent in a letter last Monday or Tuesday and got a call yesterday. Hee hee!! :cool1:

Thanks WDW!!!

It is amazing how much good will can be generated from a compliment. Now that I have joined the cell phone era, I make many calls to those how is my driving phone numbers, and when waiting in the drivethrus of fastfood restaurants. I am very complimentary of the drivers or workers, and without an exception the people taking the call thank me over and over. It must suck to be constantly bombarded with negatives. I compliment you on your letter. I am sure you brightened someones day, and most likely many peoples day. The response you got even brightened your day, how cool is that. I am glad you posted this.

Working with customers all day taking almost 100 calls a day. There's a saying we have for every complaint 100 people are told,For every compliment only 10 people are told.

The last time I sent a letter in October it took about 2 weeks or so before I got a great answering machine message (very long!). So now I'm waiting to see if I get the same response from the past letter I just sent earlier this month. I'm hoping it won't take as long as my IRS check since I sent both out at the same time. :)
