I wrapped Christmas presents last night!

I know, it it not even Halloween...But, I had them, I wrapped them. DONE. Every year I say I am not going to wait until Christmas to wrap. (Dh and I are usually up until 2am wrapping). And so far, every year, I am up on Christmas Eve wrapping. I finally did it. I finally decided this was the year.

I had bought the kids some stuff at WDW in September, and had it mailed home. They have been sitting in my closet, and I tackled them last night!

Is there a "patting myself on the back" smilie?

Good for you!!! When I worked, I had all my Christmas shopping done by Labor Day, and everything wrapped at least by Halloween. This was when I had small children who could easily be convinced that what I had already bought and wrapped was the one thing they wanted most in the world. And things could easily be hidden at work or in my closet.

Now I'm at home with bigger children, and I know I'll be shopping at the last minute, as the things on their list change rapidly!!! And I'll be wrapping on Christmas Eve, too, I'm sure!!

DD and I power shopped this past weekend. She was home from college and there were so many good sales on....LOL

I have to say it was very strange having the paper, the scissors, the tape, the pen and the gift tags strewn all over..in OCTOBER. Very strange, but I'll get over it. Epsecially when I may be snoring by 11PM Christmas Eve!

I'm not done shopping yet, but I did go to the Toys R Us friends and family sale the other day and bought several gifts for my kids...and I wrapped them. If I don't, there is a good chance kiddoes will find them & know what I bought! (we don't have a huge house with a lot of good hiding places).

I'm just about done with my Christmas shopping and about half done with wrapping. We're going to WDW Dec. 3-10 and then I'm getting my tubes tied on Dec. 15 so I'm trying to have as much of the holiday stuff done before hand as possible.

Can you believe there's only 45 days until we leave for our trip to WDW?

I have more then half of my presents wrapped also and it feels good knowing that I don't have to do that when Christmas comes around.
I can enjoy the holiday season more with that out of the way.
