I’ll try this post just once, and see where it goes (but I am very hopeful!) The subject is: “I would spend less time by not riding (seeing) _____, and more time _____.” The blanks refer to attractions or shows if you prefer. It combines two common themes here on the boards (best and worse comparisons.) I hope it will help those of us with limited time make better decisions on which rides to take. Please refrain from flaming others for their choices. Disney is sacred ground for us all!

I’ll start us off:
I would spend less time by not riding Peter Pan, and more time seeing Philharmagic. We must have waited an hour or so for that ride, and while it took me back to when I was a kid, it did nothing for my son. Philharmagic on the other hand was great fun for everyone!

I would spend less time riding Stitch and more time walking around Epcot during Flower & Garden festival. How fun it was to literally stop and smell the roses two weeks ago! And, Stitch was terrible, but had to do it once.

I would spend less time waiting in line for Mission Space and more time enjoying the countries in World Showcase.

I would spend less time waiting in lines for character signatures that we already have, and spend more time enjoying the magic (really looking around to see the little details).

Of course this would only happen if we leave the kids at home! ;)

I would spend less time watching Fantasmic and more time Riding Rockin' Rollercoaster.

I would spend less time by not riding Test Track (because I can drive that fast at home), and more time just chilling out and soaking in the parks (and not sprinting from attraction to attraction.

I would spend less time by not being on these boards two hours a day and more time trying to find out what this "outside" thing is everybody seems to be talking about...

I would spend less time at character meals, (especially Donald's which was a total waste of time and money) and more time exploring World Showcase.

Can I do another?

I would spend less time waiting around for parades and more time riding everything while all those other people wait for parades!

BTW, great thread!

Good thread, we have already had this discussion in our family for our next trip....

We will spend less time (no time) in AK and more time in Epcot and/or MGM.

No flames please :firefight We have been to AK twice and it just isn't our fav park, both times we walked away going "jeeze, I wish we had spend the extra time in Epcot or MGM instead".

A second would be:

I would spend less time worrying about my touring plan and more time enjoying the little moments.

That's my Disney mantra! :wave2:

I would spend less time at Epcot (with my small kiddos) and more time at MGM.

I will spend less time at IASW and more time at Haunted Mansion (which I had to skip last time)

I will spend less time at home and more time at DISNEYWORLD!

From DD7, I would spend less time seeing It's a Bug's Life and more time riding Kali River Rapids. (The 6 times in a row last visit obviously weren't enough!)

I would spend less time visiting in May or September and more time during the Food and Wine Festival.

I would spend less time riding Stitch and more time watching Phillarmagic! This show is absolutely amazing, I could have spent all day there!

I would spend less time keeping an eye on the clock...worrying about getting to places (parks, rides, restaurants), and spend more time just slowing down and enjoying being on "vacation". ::MinnieMo

I would spend less time in AK and I would spend more time in MK

We've done AK and hated it every time not sure why though.

My second one would be I would spend less time waiting in Line for Maelestrom and more time walking in all the nooks and ccrannies of the WS

From my dear fiance:
I WOULD SPEND LESS TIME ON WINNIE THE POOH AND MORE TIME ON SPLASH MOUNTAIN.

Hopefully this can be revived by bumping! I would spend less time eating at Cosmic Rays, and more time splurging in fancier places. :earsboy:

I would spend less time obsessing over plans and more time enjoying my kids soaking in the magic :wizard:

ITA. Won't waste time at AK until the new Everest roller coaster is ready to ride. We never seem to spend "enough" time at EPCOT.
