My cats are Alex and Vanessa; hence AlexandNessa!

AlexandNessa - SpideyHulk started a thread about screen names But I'll tell you about mine...Flyfly_Eclipse was a TYPO! That's right! A big fat typing mistake!!! It was supposed to be FIREfly_Eclipse, because of Firefly (my favorite MLP character when I was really little...like 10 years ago) and Eclipse because I'm fascinated with astronomy (hehehe...not astrology, I don't believe in it...I'm a Christian girl ). But, I accidentally typed "Flyfly" instead of "Firefly" and I didn't realize it until I tried logging onto the DISboards one day and found I couldn't log in!! I actually like "Flyfly" better though...definitely original and a LOT less corny!!

Seriously..........I am fascinated by Chinese Astrology - I have found after studying it that 90% of the traits and trends in connection with when you were born are accurate, and it is very useful in working situations. I work in a Nursery School and when new children come in I look up their birthdays and year of birth - it really helps to understand their make-up - just initially until you obviously get to know them properly. I think - ahh a e.g. Monkey.....this one will like books and reading - be inquistive - so I can build on that and join them initially with children whom they are likely to bond with. It's strange - but 9 times out of 10 - it works!!
