I cannot believe I actually won an online prize sweepstakes!!!

I won 2 FREE r/t tickets on Spirit Airlines! That is all we fly to WDW. We may have to take a trip sooner. Plus, I have a $132 voucher from them to use. I would only have to pay for 1 ticket. DH was floored. He thought there was some glitch with it or something.

I just spoke with a rep at Spirit's corporate offices. She said (also on the site's sweeps disclaimer) the prize also includes 3 nights stay at a hotel thru hotels.com and a 4 day car rental thru Hertz. The prize is valued at $1325. I had to call to find out how to redeem the hotel and car award. She is supposed to get back to me. So the prize is worth more than just 2 tickets!! DH is thinking a trip WITHOUT the kids maybe to Atlantic City?? He has never been to a casino and all we would need to bring is spending and food money.

I just read your update and that is really terrific! Wow! (I still think I would go to WDW though, or at least Florida, lol. But then, I'm definitely not a casino person, lol.) Have fun wherever you decide to go!

If you decide to go to AC, try and get the Borgata hotel in the Marina. It is a brand new hotel that reportedly cost a billion dollars to build. It is not on the boardwalk but in the Marina area near Harrah's and Trump's Marina.
The hotel has some of the best restaurants in the city which are outlets of well-known chefs from Philly and New York.
