I bid on a headboard from the Polynesian Resort of Ebay and I won! I t will be shipped next week. Dfi and I are so thrilled to have a piece of WDW in our home. It was an engagement gift from my parents too! YAY!

Did you get the entire bedroom suite or just the headboard? I think thats fantastic, I have stayed at the Poly many times and it was our first resort on site that we stayed at.

Now I have to say a hello because I saw you were from Mocksville, wow, I live in Canada now but lived in Mocksville/Cooleemee for several years, lets see it was back in the mid to late 60's, so maybe I am around your parents age, my son is 25 if that helps!

Gee I moved there from Virginia Beach, VA and it was such a small town place, I went to Davie County High for my first 2 years of high school and my parents were supervisors at the Mill there in Cooleemee. I have good memories of eating at that drive in restaurant,,,geesh I can't remember the name of it now but it had the best cheesburgers and Cheerwine. Was it C's Diner?

Saskamouse! YSE it was C's. They are still here in town (have two locations to boot!). Always good to hear of another Mocksvillian!

The shipping from FL to NC was $98.

I also asked them and never got an answer, i didnt want to bid unless i knew the shipping cost's.

I also bid on and won a bed set on Ebay-Mouse Surplus. I emailed them before bidding and asked for s/h quote on head board, 2 night stands, daybed, armoire,mirror and a chair. I was quoted "about 250.00". I then bid and figured if it was a little more (say maybe 300.00) it was no biggie. When I received my invoice it was for $375.00. I have emailed them and I am waiting for a response. I think they should be more accurate on their shipping charges, as they ship large items all the time.
I would like to have it-but there is a limit.
