I won Disney's Mission Space sweepstakes

Disney just notified me today! I actually one first prize in the Mission Space Sweepstakes- the Hp pocket pc. It's not the trip for 4 to WDW, but it shows there are winners to these sweepstakes. I enter every Disney sweepstakes I find - I 'll win that big trip yet! I just had to tell someone who would care that I won a Disney Sweepstakes, and why tell just one person when I can tell 55,000 of them. Can you tell I'm excited? Thanks for letting me share.

I got an email from a "Disney Vacation Specialist" asking me to reply with my mailing address within 10 days. It also listed her phone number which I did call to verify 'cause I couldn't believe my luck. She said they'll mail an affadavit and upon it's return I get my prize. There are few things better than winning something from Disney or reading a Delswife trip report.

It is actually a Compaq Laptop Computer and a printer/scanner/copier all in one. I got a phone call from the company that administers the prizes (not Disney, a different company) on Monday the 17th, (I won on the 9th of Nov), she sent the afadavit on Tuesday, I signed it and had it notorized and she got it back on Wednesday, so now I am waiting for HP to ship it out. There were 50 first prizes, and like the OP I was hoping for the grand prize, but maybe next time. I will say that if you happen to win the grand prize, you MUST take the vacation over New Years Eve. It is not flexible timing, so I know that I could not have done it. But I sure love winning!

torilammy - you are right!!! I remember thinkig how odd that there were 2 mission space sweepstakes, but I went on and entered as always.

I think it's great that "real" people win these prizes. Persistance pays off, if you enter them all every day, I think eventually, you will hit the jackpot!
