LOL Krisu, MIL gave me a Bluebird Diner cookbook one year for Christmas. Knowing full well I don't do "down home" cooking. It was her way of saying her way is better, as she is known to be pretty vocal about her way of doing things.

The cookbook itself is hilarious, though. Lots of references to the characters in Mayberry.

Browneyes, I'm surprised your SO is like Howard. I would have pegged you to be more with someone who is like Andy. Is your SO attached to his Mother like Howard was?

So far all I've had is 2 cups of cinnamon flavored coffee. Nothing else sounded good until browneyes had to go and mention Subway. Now I'm dying for a Mediteranean chicken sub with feta cheese and black olives.
