I wish I could pull off short hair

idk about the pixie cut, but i would LOVE to have hair like Kristin Bell did in season 1 of Veronica Mars:

my DSIL tho has informed me that that particular haircut is only ever worn my "pregnant and/or trashy women" and i should keep my long hair

but i'm srsly getting to the point of wanting to chop it all off like that. my husband loves that haircut.

I hardly ever have my hair long. I like shorter hair alot better. My hair curls when it gets longer and straightening it is just a hassle and kills my hair.

I just had about 6inches cut off my hair yesterday! (Not sure exactly how much--I couldn't look). Anyhow, its a layered bob and I really like it. It's the shortest my hair has been in years. I wish I could wear it shorter, but it's so thick and I don't like my neck, so I try to hide it at least a little.

you know what's funny? i always thought that most men LIKED longer hair on women but my DH actually prefers shorter hair. he's the main one telling me to get it cut lol!

that's exactly my problem. it's so long and thick and it's curly because it's so long and it's a pain to deal with it. if i sleep on it the curls get all frizzy and tangled and straightening takes over an hour to do!

I wish I could go shorter, but it's so thick and the one time I tried it really short it was not a pleasant experience. I took the picture myself--so it's not the highest quality. Looking at it, I really need to put some makeup on!

Thanks everyone! It's not a great picture--but the haircut looked pretty good in it. I really like it. Very nice change. Someone asked me today if I was going through a midlife crisis, since I cut my hair --I thought that was a very weird question.
