I wish APs were available to buy in Disney Stores!!!!! Imagine how nice it would be to walk into a Disney store before your holiday and get your passport done and dusted and not have all the frap of wasting precious DLRP time in the passport bureau
This is going to be our first time getting APS and I don't really want to spend time queuing and getting photos done etc when I could be on POTC

Is it quicker ordering through ce multiadvanges etc or will it still take a while to process?

It's a nice idea but I can see problems as it does take quite a bit of time, especially for a family, which would be hard to fit in while managing the ordinary shoppers. Also the store would need the computer, camera and card producing equipment.

I agree something needs to be done about the time spent queueing at the passport office though. Wouldn't doing it all online and uploading your own photos be simpler for Disney to manage?

In july we waited over a hour it was sat teatime so when we went bsck in april and took a friend I eas worried it would be tha same butno went before lunch on atues 10 mins in and out so think it deprnds we got ours from ce and went to the desk they do have self sevice computers but I think these are only for french locals

Did you see the post a while ago about the person who applied by post? You don't benefit from the CE/Promoparcs discounts but it saves the hassle of sorting out when you arrive. PLUS he ordered a Francilien pass so days 2 and 3 had passed while they were in the post. I'm definitely trying this when I come to renew next time.

I followed the above thread to order an annual pass by post it was very quick and easy.

it worked out the same price as getting a discounted one online as I was able to get the francellien because I avoided the non contractual days.

Thanks very much everybody. I had decided to buy them at DLRP so I could get the Shareholder's discount...but this is perfect, I can still get the discount by post [can't I???]. Only one question, when it asks for the total they can charge my card do I subtract the discount, or do they?
