my dh and I are taking dd2.5 to DISNEY for my birthday (OH, trust me, I am totally excited about this trip). I LOVE disney and only got to go once as a small child and don't remember it or have any pictures of it. ANYWAY, any ideas of where to eat for a special BDAY dinner at Disney. We are going to Mickey's Not So Scary HP that evening, the day we arrive in Orlando (we won't be in the park that day...just that night). Anyway, I would like to have a special bday dinner possibly that night or the following night. Any ideas for a 32 year old birthday girl with 2.5yo?

I spend every birthday I can at WDW, this year I will turn 34 at the world!

I just celebrate the whole trip.

I have the most fun when I act like a kid and just let it all go and experiance the magic the same way a 5 year old would

enjoy

We took my DH to the Yachtsman Steakhouse for his 33rd B-day last year. The food was excellent, staff was friendly. I ordered a cake for him and they brought it out at the end of the meal. We also had our boys with us 5 and 7 at the time, and they loved it too! :cool1:

I would celebrate too.. I am going to celebrate my 35th this year!!!!!!!!!! Chef Mickey style!

Go for! Full out .. Just tell yourself that it is your present to you :bday: Make sure you go to the guest stations in EVERY park and get a b-day button and wear it! Each park has a different design. You might get a little extra special treatment from CMs. Last time son & I (b-days are a week apart & we both wore our buttons all of the 10 days we were there) we got pulled up into the crowd while we were waiting for parade to start. He gave us bubble thingees to blow and had us march in a circle while everyone sang to us! :cheer2:

This time when I called for ADRs I told them it was a birthday party and they told me to remind the host/hostess when we got there so maybe balloons or something might happen depending on mood of server?!?!?! Search the boards using word BIRTHDAY you will find lots & lots of things others have done :cake:

I just celebrated my 42nd birthday at Chef Mickey with my husband, sister, and two daughters (ages 4 and 10). I got a special placemat that marked me as someone celebrating something, and I got a birthday cupcake and a hug from Mickey during the little song and dance thing they do.

We're getting ready to make our 3rd trip. It just happens to be my DH's b-day, so I'm going to call the bakery at the Boardwalk and order a special cake. I don't know if they'll deliver it to a park for a dinner ressie, but I'm going to try. My advice, pick a restaurant that sounds fun and enjoy.

If you have time for a little nightlife....and no kids to worry about, check out JellyRolls on the boardwalk. There is a cover to get in, but it is so much fun! We used to go there before we had kids....now were in bed the same time as them!!!

This Jan I will be turning 40 during our trip so I booked Ohana at the Polynesian for my birthday dinner. It is so beautiful there and I thought a luau(sp?) on the water would be special. We are traveling with 12 of us this time so I thought it would be fun. Good luck with your decision I am sure whatever you decide it will be magical. :cheer2: :cheer2:
