I Will Relax!!

Hey,
I promised myself and my husband that I wouldn't overplan this time. HOWEVER, he really wants to go to the Magic Kingdom on Friday October 29. I said fine, made reservations at CRT for lunch and relaxed....until I read these boards and Len Testa's Website( which I love btw)
The question is, are we making a huge mistake by going there on a Friday? Our daughter needs a wheelchair in the parks and I really don't want an issue with HUGE crowds. Thanks for letting me ramble.

I hope not because I'll be there on a Friday too (8/26). We don't have many options because it's just a short surprise trip for the kids. We were there on Good Friday over Spring Break this year and using the early EMH (which they have the day I'm going and they had every day over Spring Break) we were able to do everything we wanted (no thrill rides, my dad has a heart condition and my mom and the kids just aren't thrill riders) by 2pm. It did start getting crowded in the middle of the day though. Hope that helps

I don't want to spoil anyone's plans and I don't think you can ever be *sure* what the parks are going to be like, but based on everything I have read it seems that MK is not the best park to do on a Friday unless you can do the EMH in the morning. Even then, most of what I read says not to stay there for the evening, but I really don't know about October.

I would assume it may be pretty busy the end of October because of MNSSHP, but I've never been for that so I can't base that on previous experience.

Whatever you do, I'm sure you'll have a magical time! Just do a little more research and make sure you're confident that whatever you choose is what you feel is best. That's all that matters!

Not to be over particular, or anything, but the 29th of October is a Saturday.
