I Will NEVER Eat At _______ In WDW Again!!

I have not eaten there to compare but I have a 4 and 12yr old and it was fun entertainment for both. There are male dancers too. It isn't all girls. Your 6yr old can go up and dance too. Lots of little boys did. Very cute. The band was great. I think you would enjoy it. The food and drink selections were great. Take a look at the menu score you decide.

OK, you wound up convincing me. I switched our Portabella reservations to Raglan Road. I figured I already can cook great Italian food plus there are SOOOO many good Italian restaurants in Jersey that I counldn't pass up the atmosphere at Raglan Road. Hope it isn't too noisy for my FIL. I'll bring earplugs just in case!

It isn't noisy like you want to cover your ears. It is just music, bustling fun. I thought Biergarten and BOG were much louder than Raglan Road.

And yes I live in DC and Italian restaurants are easier to come by. The menu is unique and not all Irish. I had shrimp and lobster risotto as their nightly special. It was so good!!

I hope you enjoy it!

Oh that's good to know. I love Irish music, but I want to be able to talk at the table. The kids are a little nervous about the menu though.

I switched our Wave reservation to the Whispering Canyon Cafe too, the kids will like that more and it will make up for some of the more sophisticated places we are taking them to.

Thus far the only place I'll never eat at again is Cosmic Rays at MK.

I'm willing to give other places a 2nd chance. Though I've also had less than stellar experiences at the ABC Commissary and Sunshine Seasons--the latter was more due to crowds and no place to sit when I was 6 months pregnant.

Agree on Cosmic Rays- though I feel like I keep saying that, am desperate for a quick hotdog, and feel sick again soon after...

I have eaten at Tony's a few times and whil I wouldn't say it was fantastic ,I have enjoyed the steak, the hicken Parm and my favorite the shrimp linguie , also I LOVED their Tiramusu!!Like any restaurant they can have anoff night food wise and luck of the draw with servers , I have always had decent servers at Tony's !! Coral Reef I am on he fence about nothing on the menu except the steak really appeals to me and neither do the desserts !!Service here was not the best either !!The only really BAD experience I had was at Mama Melrose's , nothing was even remotely good there !!!

Wow, have to say I'm a bit nervous after reading some of these stories. Let's hope I have good luck with my food experience. I've not been to all the parks since 2001. Previously to that, 1992. I don't remember any bad dining experiences.

This thread is making me nervous too. I was there in 2010 and thought Hollywood and Vine was awful and I wasn't impressed with Biergarten at all. The other restaurants I barely remember. I didn't realize you had to make ADR's so far in advance for everything (I thought that was just for the big draws) and since it was a last minute trip I got whatever was left for the most most part. Thank goodness a nice CM on the phone saw I didn't have any reservations and booked me one for each day. Good thing I called about something else and she noticed or we wouldn't have been eating anywhere. it was during a free dining promotion so the restaurants were quite full.

The only place that we have on our never again list if 50's Prime Time, we found the staff rude, and the chef and waitress didn't seem to really try and help my sister with her menu choices, she has to be really careful as she has multiple allergies. The only thing they could offer her at the time as a brownie with some whipped cream for LUNCH.....

I agree with T-Rex. It was an assault on the senses and the food was mediocre at best.

That's just sad! Children should not think of fries as a staple. I can honestly say we NEVER eat at fast food establishments, so fries are something we have maybe twice a year.

My dd hates potato products, especially fries. So the kids options here look pretty good for us.

We were gifted a Dining Plan Point by my mom (staying at the same room that us)
So since we didn't have a reservation we entered a place which was half full - a complete mistake!
The food was awful, the server practically ignored us and the lighting made me dizzy. :/

San Angel Inn! The food if you could call it that was horrible! The only thing good was the chips. I've tried traditional Mexican food and Tex-Mex and the food at San Angel Inn doesn't fit into either category. Needless to say I would pick McDonald's any day!:lmao:

Where will I not eat? The Brown Derby, NEVER again! The food was just ok and the service was horrible. Our waiter literally stood two tables away from us and chatted with his friends and never came back to our table to see if we needed anything or would like our drinks refilled. I had to flag down another server to get a steak knife to cut my steak.

H&V the only thing I can say about that is YUCK!

Rainforest Café - we've given it a couple tries and it makes my family sick every time.

San Angel Inn - the food is tasteless and looks like it comes out of a TV Dinner box. I live in the southwest where we have real Mexican food and there is no comparison. Go to Taco Bell it tastes better and is just about as "authentic".

Any breakfast buffet. What can I say, way over priced and you get cold waffles, bland eggs, lukewarm sausage, dry biscuits I could go on but you get the picture.

Great question. . .I am admittedly overly critical of Disney Dining because I have been eating there for over 20 years (from a qualified standpoint) and find over those 20 years the quality overall has become mediocre at best while the prices even at the best possible restaurants are insulting.

If one has a car and doesn't mind leaving the Disney Magic, or if you simply walk to Dolphin or Swan, you'll find what Disney dining should be.

Anyway here are my top 5 never visit again (assuming management doesn't change) and (there are way more than five):

Kona Breakfast was awful. Fat, sugar and some corn syrup added on top of fat and sugar to hide how horrible the food is. Crap Kona coffee knockoff. Service was atrocious. Shameful.

Yachtsman. . . overrated. Meh service as well. Shulas would put them out of business if Disney didn't protect them with the DDP (Frame of Reference: Chicago steakhouses - if you're going to drop $60 to $100 a person, you should be at least as good as Chicago Chop).

Le Cellier. Apparently Salt is the chief export of Canada. The move to 2TS credits was ridiculously arrogant. Service is good though, but I still won't go back.

Chefs de France. Do I even need to elaborate?

Every TS restaurant at MK. . . why do I have to leave the park to get a decent TS meal? (pre-Fantasy land expansion since I haven't been since.)

I do have favorites too, and there are some gems, but that wasn't your question.

I would like to know the "gems".

Sanaa

I heard so many good things about this place so decided to try it--figured I would not normally go to a place like this. I ordered buttered chicken which I did not care for and bisson. which I liked although a bit spicy. around 4 in the morning I was never so sick in my life. Once everything was out of my stomach I was ok. I think I am just not used to that type of spice. I will stick to less spicy food. We did see a lot of animals before we ate and also several from our window table :)

I love buttered chicken! I make it twice a month at home. Delicious. We love hot and spicy. Indian cuisine is wonderful if you have the pallet for it.

We are done with Ohana. The food was way too salty. We used to LOVE this place. The last two times we tried it we hated,so we are now done

Others on our list
CP
China
Kat Cora Kouzina ( high price small portion. I got a whole two fingerling potatoes with my beef)
Tusker House for lunch
ABC Commissary

Coral Reef, my food was horrible. The service was bad too. It was the only place in Disney where I sent my food back. The worst part was the server was so bad by the time I got her attention to send back my dish everyone in our party was finished. I left hungry.
