I Will NEVER Eat At _______ In WDW Again!!

This is my list:

Sci Fi Dine in Theater: Food is horrible

Mama Melrose: enough said

50's prime time: It's sad for me to put this on the list. We used to really like the food, but the last few times it has been horrible. We kept on waiting for it to redeem itself, but no go. Go there only for the milkshakes and dessert.

Le Cellier: Way too expensive. Used to go there for lunch, but they got rid of the lunch menu.

Here's another vote for Mama Melrose. Service is soso food decent but no better then Olive Garden in fact Olive Garden is better but I don't pay these prices to eat at Olive Garden. Also and the main reason is my wife has celiac(food allergy) so she has to eat gluten free. About an hour after eating dinner here she started getting all the signs that the meal was not gluten free. She had to stay in our room for two days so she could be close to a bathroom. My wife was diagnosed with celiac 22 years ago, she knows when the chef screwed up. For all the times we have been to WDW she never had an issue before. In fact Disney is years ahead of everyone else when it comes to food allergies. Mama Melrose no more.

I agree with CP at Dinner. I did not like the food and we didn't even see all of the characters. We love it for breakfast but at Dinner it seemed much less organized.

Also, we won't be going back to Whispering Canyon Cafe anytime soon. Our first 2 trips there were great. The food was great and it was a fun experience. Our last trip was neither. The food was not very good and since we were seated on the far side to the right (almost in the lobby) the fun was missing. My husband will certainly miss those unlimited refill milkshakes!

I would never go back to Coral Reef...went with a group of friends, very excited to try it...ended up with horrible service, food was meh, and did I mention the horrible service...literally, one of the folks in our party of six had the wrong dish brought out three times, and the waiter never apologized and instead acted exasperated we should ask for the correct dish (three times)...sheesh...and then the food wasn't really all that great...should have saved the money and just ate at Sunshine Seasons...

TRex. First experience there was wonderful. Food was great, atmosphere
fun, but most recent experience was awful. Food was not good and it was so crowded and loud (and no, I'm not talking about the dinosaurs).
Just an unpleasant experience.

Hollywood and Vine. Just had dinner there after a 7 year hiatus, and though I didn't find it "inedible" as a lot of DISers have expressed, I did find it sub-par and pretty lacking all around. The seating area at Fantasmic! for the dining package is much improved now and we would definitely do that again, just not at H&V.

My husband and I had the Turkey and Roast Beef Sandwiches which were both very dry. My 4 and 5 year-olds had the Whole-Grain Macaroni which was a VERY small portion and they both left hungry. We had pre-ordered, but our order was never received and the Cast Member seemed irritated that we were in the wrong line (I did pre-order online). The Cast Member who checked us in was rude and it took a long time for our food to arrive at the table. It was just overall a bad experience.

SciFi. Too dark to see. The food was terrible both times we tried it.... and it was expensive in comparison to other places in the Parks.

Restaurant Marrakesh--just not my style of food.
Mama Melrose--the food was just okay, but we had to wait 40 mins for our ADR and were right on time. Not worth it.

:confused3

We also hated this place! In addition to it being so dark you literally had to take a flash pic with your phone to see what was on your plate, we were a party of 3 and my mom had to keep craning her neck back to even feel like she was dining with us. I get the concept and it does have a wow factor when you walk in, but it was not practical at all to actually eat there for us. Plus the food. :crazy2: Except the chocolate peanut butter cake. I would be lying if I said that wasn't great!

Whispering Canyon Cafe: Three trips, three times indifferent servers, and three times bland, greasy food.

Monsieur Paul: Uninspired dishes imperfectly prepared and served in a supposedly fine-dining atmosphere that is anything but. Pricey and nowhere near worthy of the cost.

Just got back and Cape May was definitely the worst meal of the trip. The ribs were back (thank goodness or I would have starved). The crab legs were huge and gorgeous but WAY overcooked. They did not come out of the shell, you had to split the shell and retrieve little pieces. It was bad.

The clam strips were tough and chewy. The fish nuggets were good....pretty bad when the BEST thing at a seafood buffet, is the fish nuggets...sigh.

Not sure if I ever posted this before in this post but I have a few places that is on my DO NOT list for restaurants due to experience, food choices or other matters.

1.) Hollywood Durby @ DHS
Bad experience. I'm never going to use 2 TS again for any place. This place should really be 1TS because it just lacks morals and food isn't that great.
2.) Le Celliur @ Epcot
Bad experience. Went on my BDay and had the worst server and food was mediocre. I'm glad they made it into 2TS because we're never going again.
3.) Le Chefs De France
Not a lot of great choices. The server was great though

Excellent to know! Thanks!

Our never again is Flame Tree. Yuck! Just ghastly! Dry, fast food low quality, and the only saving grace was the adorable begging birds.

But we live in Chicago and DH's family lives in Houston so we are good BBQ spoiled.

You made me feel so much better about canceling our reservation!

Breakfast at Rainforest in AK=not very good.

CM dinner buffet=food was like a hospital cafeteria and the buffet was messy and chaotic. The fab 5 were awesome!

That being said I have eaten at many TS and QS and overall enjoyed most all except for the two mentioned above and I still would not say they were horrible, just wouldn't do again for my family.
