I thought this might make for an interesting thread. There might be something that someone else may not have thought. Once you feel comfortable with this one thing, then you can try something else. It could be as simple as drinking more water. I did that a few weeks ago, and it worked.



What is one thing with your weight loss program, that could improve on.

Me..........
I WILL work on making a conscious effort to eat less carbs each day.

Today I went to Chick-Fil-A for lunch, and I had a grilled chicken salad instead of the grilled chicken sandwich. I fork dipped the ceasar dressing and added sunflower seeds instead of croutons.


Anyone else??

One thing with my weight loss program I could improve on:
Exercising every day....

I am the queen of excuses!!!
 
I will improve my weight loss by writing everything in my journal. I have found that when I keep track of what I eat each day I tend to lose more weight that week. So I have my pen & journal on my nightstand and I will write each night.
 
The one thing I can improve on in my weight loss program is.......
excercise! I really do have to get moving with this!
 

One thing I can improve on my weight loss program is to RESIST those unplanned cheat meals. Seems like in the middle of the week I just don't want to cook any more and it would be easier to zip out to a restaurant. SO THIS WEEK, no zipping out to eat. Friday is our scheduled cheat and THAT'S it! ;)
 
I need to add more fiber to my diet. I was doing well eating the Pepperidge Farm high fiber breads (5g a slice - so only 1 pt.), and a sandwich made with that is nice and filling.

But I got in the habit of using a tortilla for a wrap style sandwich - good but not as filling and 3 pt. each. So I'm going back to the high fiber bread!

Gosh, are we talking just about weight loss here? :p

Really, I'd like to think I could add some light weight training to my exercise routine (wow, I have a routine!), and work on PORTION CONTROL! I have a tendency to really load up my plate if I'm not careful...

I really need to work on staying in pts most everyday!! Thanks to Kamy I now have a chart to track myself for the next thirteen weeks! This has become a major downfall for me - so I'm just going to stick with that! But I'm telling everyone b/c the accountability is a great motivator for me!
 
I am going to work on eating more fresh fruits. That has been a problem for me, but I found some good looking grapes and cherries and I'm going to make sure I eat them before they go bad.
 
I also could improve my exercise habits. I usually get in 3 days of cardio in a week, but I really need to step it up to 4 or even 5. I think I should make it a goal to exercise at least 1 time on the weekends, since during the week seems to be the only time I'm doing it.
