Ok so I"m 23 about 5'2 and I weigh in at O lets say 118. I actually appear to be fairly slender HOWEVER I know the truth! LOL. I would like to lose about 8 lbs and tone my body. I'm back at the gym now. Using the elpitcal, the bike, the ab sliiiiiiiiiiide, and some weights. I'm also trying to follow a low calorie diet. I have even started bringing my lunch to work so I won't go to Wendys or Panera or the Diner etc if I get hungry. Its also saving lots of money lol! Suggestions and Encouragement welcome...i'll keep you updated.

BTW whats up with cellulite? I mean come on...is that really necessary? I think NOT!

You have come to right place for support!!!!! This is the best place that I have found.

Good job on taking your lunch to work. That for me was the hardest. I used to love eating out at lunch and when I decided I didn't want to be fat anymore I had to start bringing my lunch. That was over 2 months ago and I feel great! You will too!
 
Ok I did about 40 min of cardio (32 of eliptical and 8 of bike...got cramps...think it might be THAT time lol) totally 430 calories. Ate fairly healthy today. Had some chips at work (wasted 260 calories) but other than that very healthy!

At least I'm getting back into the gym swing, thats my main goal!

Welcome - getting toned and getting to the gym is a very good goal!!!!! You did come to the right place and we'll help you kick some butt at the gym (at least with as much encouragement as we can offer!!!! :) ).

L: grapes, home-made ham with a little cheddar and mustard wrap

S: Low calorie key lime yougrt

D: sushi

Post dinner: well its thurs and I hardly ever get out so I"ll prolly have 2 or 3 drinks. eh it happens, i'm young!

Exercise planned: 35 min on the elipitcal, 15 min on the bike, abs, arms.

Those drinks have calories too, I'd watch your consumption of those-I don't want those to become the end of you.

Drink your water, and read other people's journals. They really really help!

Yea I know those drinks have calories but when youre a full time student and work full time and you have a weekend off where you have no hw/class, you enjoy yourself. I dont drink very often so when I get the chance I take advantage. Also I dont really NEED to lose weight I'm just trying to get back in shape so I'm not too concerned if I have a few drinks or get fries every once in a while. Its all about moderation.


I stuck to the plan fairly well. Except I had 5 drinnks instead instead of 3 and then I didnt get a chance to get to the gym. Time to start a new day!
 
Ok had a little bit of setback over the weekend. The eating was fairly good. Stayed within a low calorie diet. The exercise however was lacking. I had some uumm feminine issues so that is the reason for no gym until Sunday. However on Sunday I did 30 min on the elipitcal and 15 min on the bike. Then when I got home I did 70 reps on the ab slide. As for today I had an iced coffee with milk and sweet and low and a corn muffin. Definately planning on hitting the gym hard again today!
 
Oh...you had TOM come over!!! He's a cruel one, isn't he?! I'm sorry you had to deal with him.

You're doing very well though!!! Keep up the great work!

haha I WISH it was just TOM. Lets just say working full time and giong to school full time puts a strain on the system and your body isnt as good at fighitng off infections. I took some antibiotics b/c I was sick and got a down there infections because of it! And now TOM is here. LOL talk about adding insult to injury!

Yesterday- Ate healthy and did 35 min on the eliptical and 12 min on the bike = 450 calories. Then I did 100 reps on the ab sliiiiiiiiiiiiide. Hoping for another successful day today!
