I will be in WDW for a weekend in April. I don't plan on going to any parks (small maybe for epcot).

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to eat solo that I may not need to have made the 180 day ADR for?

I am looking at 2 dinners and price really doesn't matter since I'll be on business travel.

My vote is for Artist Point and Jiko. They both have great food. You should have no problem getting in for an early or late dinner without ressies and they have great bars (as well as resorts to check out) while you wait.

Since it's last minute for you, and money is not an issue, I'd think you could get ADRs at:

Grand FLoridian Cafe

Actually, you can try it as a walkup. At the California Grill, you can say you'll be dining solo and want to know if they have any seating at the open kitchen seating area. It's less cramped than the bar would be, and you get a "show" (aka watching them work) with your dinner.

At Jiko, their version of the counter area is part of their restaurant name: "The Cooking Place". Ask to be seated there. If there are no seats at either, you can order food at both bars at California Grill and Jiko.

I've sat at these counters at California Grill, Jiko and Flying Fish Cafe, and they are all very good.

I suggest Artist Point as well. We loved it and they have some very nice meal selections and the wine flight pairing is a real treat.
