He switched my drug from Celexa to Lexapro. Lexapro is an improved version of Celexa. He told me I have to give the medicine at least 2 months to get the full effect. So, about 2 months ago when I had the celexa doubled, and I was wondering why it wasn't working, that's why. It hadn't had time yet.
So, I have to be patient, with the medicine, and with myself. I told him that I was going to see my counselor again, and he told me to make sure I did.
He told me all the other problems stemmed from from the original problem and I have to deal with those symtoms as they come up. He figures as soon as this gets a hold of my system, most of those problems will automatically go away.
Some good news. My blood pressure has been down for a year, so he took me off those pills. It was 112/74.
So, along with the medical part, and the mental part, I am doing what people have suggested and things are going well.
at least for today.
Tomorrow I sign my divorce papers, and sign my dd up for her car insurance.
Next time I go into the sky is falling thing, just call me Henny Penny, or just tell me to calm down, it will be alright.
