I went -- I saw -- I bought

Having read of a tent sale at the Belz outlet for the weekend -- I just HAD to go to the Disney tents.
It was a VERY BUSY place. You would have thought they were selling low LE pins.
One box had two remaining pins # 2333: Coronado Springs Dangle Character. (70% off the retail)
I bought them both and realized one is missing a dangle.
I also bought two of Pin 20771: WDW - 75 Years with Mickey Boxed Pin Set -- $17.50 each.
Another pin set I did not buy was #22806: WDW - Magical Place To Be 2003 (4 Pin Boxed Set)
I bought an item I have no idea what I will do with -- but it is cute. It's a Mission Space soft cloth/vinyl helmet. (adult size)
Maybe I could put it on a pumpkin for Halloween. Blaine nixed that he would wear it at MNSSHP. (vinyl and too warm he says)
They also had a large M:S cookie jar I almost bought. (Had to refrain on something.)
Some items were not marked. Looking at the receipt there is one item I would not have bought, as I thought it would be less. (Not like it was expensive -- $14 for a knit polo top.)

Then into one of the outlet Disney stores. I kept looking at the castle figurine, "Model Sheet: The Happiest Place on Earth". I finally bought it ($30). I did not realize it is a LE1000.

Lots of stuff inside the tents at Belz, if you are in town.

Wow, I knew that Disney was struggling financially but I had no idea that the Disney Stores were being evicted and were now just tents in a parking lot. I gotta hand it to you Roam-y, you are quite the humanitarian to help them out in their time of need.

I didn't understand the whole Mission Space head gear thing though. Do you think you could put that baby on and have Blaine take your picture so we can see what it looks like? Those hats seem so lifeless lying all flat in a box. We need someone to model it so we get the full effect.

When I finally unpack the box storing the digital camera cord, I will have a pic snapped, and you will be so envious.
Oh so many boxes unpacked. Oh so many more to go....
Now what do I do with all those McD toys?
And my die cast attraction/ride vehicles.... In boxes or out???

And Jeff buddy -- I need a refund on the lanyard you sent me a few years ago. I wore it out and tossed it away. A lot of good memories went along with that lanyard

I was there Thursday and again Friday before I got on the road.
I bought 4 Medium silver metal photo albums that hold 100 pictures for $1.20 (orig. $25), and 6 small albums that hold 60 pictures (orig. 22) for $.60 each. I took them to the Christmas store in DTD and had them engraved for $6 each for my son and daughter-in-law to be since I am giving them a honeymoon in WDW.
I bought the Mickey and Minnie Nutcracker Christmas sweater from this year for $19 (orig. $79).
A 2003 Scrapbooking album orig $25 for $1.20. Kicking myself that I only grabbed one, they were sold out on Friday when I returned.
Two long sleeved Mickey Christmas polos for $4,, a denim flannel lined shirt with Mickey on it for $12, some stuffed Mickeys for $3 each,magnets, and tons of other stuff. The receipt came to over $400 but I paid less than $45.
I am going to have to find out when then next tent sale will be and plan my trip around it, bargains galore. Peggie

Wow, I've never heard of anyone wearing out a lanyard. I'll have to see if I can get you a new one. In the mean time, leave a few pins for the other guys.

Barb & Peggie, you two ladies sure do know how to shop! Did you leave any items for other shoppers ?

Barb, Blaine may be sorry he moved you to central FLorida !! What's a few nundred boxes to unpack? You have plenty of time - we've lived here almost six years & I still live in a box (I might as well say it ... otherwise Jeff would) !

Any idea how long the tent sale will last for??

I'm headed down at the end of the month and that is one of my planned stops.

They haven't had a tent sale in years. Sounds like you both got some great bargains!
