OMG, that's one of the worst movies I have seen in a long time.

From the beginning (opening line), there was a lot of foul language, that was a hint of things to come. The story was totally ridiculous, as was the "acting". I couldn't finish watching it... just a waste of time!

Have you watched any bad movies recently?

My db and I rented Lost in Translation last Friday. We didn't even finish it. Did we miss anything?

I haven't seen it but, didn't that Lost in Translation win a bunch of awards
 . That's why I never go by the awards shows.

Yep, it was one of those movies where you think "Did they just close their eyes and pick 500 places to insert the "F" word to keep the teens watching? "

What a lousy, horrible waste of time. The only thing slightly interesting was that Cheryl Ladds daughter was the blond lead actress...

Cheryl Ladds daughter was the blond lead actress...

She is a very pretty girl.

As for Lost In Translation... we almost rented that one. There wasn't much left at the video store on Friday night.:o

I have no desire to see "Lost in Translation." Just because a movie wins awards doesn't mean it's a good movie. :teeth:

IMHO, the movie is being seen/talked about because of who the director was, and who HER father is.

I loved Lost in Translation. Different strokes.....

We rented Mona Lisa's Smile this weekend and I thought it was undoubtedly one of the LONGEST, SLOWEST movies I've ever watched. I just kept thinking, "when is it going to be OVER????" And I didn't buy Julia Roberts as a teacher. It came highly recommended by a co-worker, who obviously has very different taste in movies!
