To anyone who was on the November 7th sailing of the Wonder, I hope you really know how VERY VERY lucky you were. You were on an amazing ship, with unbelievable service, a second to none experience from beginning to end, as well as the best private island in the industry.
I was sailing on Royal Caribbean's Sovereign of the Seas which follows the Wonder out of Port Canaveral and then to the Bahamas with Disney, as well.
I went on the cruise with a friend of mine and we just didn't have the money to spend on the Disney cruise (I've been on the Wonder 4 times prior and I am on the Magic this December), she also isn't a huge Disney "fan" and thought she'd like the experience of Royal over Disney. I couldn't argue, as the differnce in price was huge, but I knew the experience wouldn't compare.
A couple of times she found me on the top deck of our ship standing on my tippy toes (like a little kid) trying to see what was happening on the Wonder at the Goofy pool. I was glued to the sail away party, and did catch a glimpse of Goofy once, I also heared most of the bellyflop competition, and I can honestly say I got tears in my eyes when I heard the amazing "when you wish upon a star" horn blow. My friend thought I had lost my mind.
The Sovereign was a nice cruise with great food, but nothing can compare to Disney so thank your stars for the great experience you were able to have!!
Happy cruising!!!
