I was so impressed with VA

Just thought I would share with you how impressed I was with VA service. I have emailed that to them as well.

I had a recent car accident, which caused me to have whiplash. I phoned VH and explained that I needed to have extra leg room or an isle seat in the middle of the plane. I didnt want to have to keep getting up to let people go to the toilet. Fighting to get out of a small area of seats.

Anyway I checked in online and checked my seat allocation and they had given me a isle seat with extra leg room. I was sitting just behind P.E. After take off the air hostess and I could not raise the TV. We had a chat and I explained what had happened and why I was allocated that seat. She came back to me and said the only seat she felt happy for me to have was a P.E seat. I was upgraded. I had a window seat with extra leg room as well. I was so impressed. The P.E service is recognisingly better. Before I thought it was a waste of money, so I cancelled my upgrades before.

On the way back they had given me an isle seat with extra leg room. I was so impressed that they had helped me. They really made sure that I was comfortable throughout my flight.

In oct 09 I will be booking P.E for all of us. I want the boys to be older so they dont bother other P.E passengers on the plane.

I am so impressed.

Glad you had a good experience with them.
We did last Oct also when we missed our flight to LAX. Took us around 6 hours to get down to Heathrow from Yorkshire. We arrived 59 mins to departure. DW was in a bit of a state, Virgin staff were outstanding, calmed her down and transferred us to next flight 3 hours later at no charge. Great service

We have always felt the same as you that with children it would be a waste, they don't the leg room etc but your post has made me think that maybe next time we should bite the bullet and go for it.

I have used Virgin for 13 years now. We started using them because they were one of the only airlines at the time that had seatback TVs in economy. Over the last six years we have always flown PE and this year we flew in UC for the first time, with another flight planned for next year in UC.

I will always travel Virgin if I can as they are very good. I love that their PE is upstairs and it's a smallish cabin. BA's PE is not a speck on Virgin's, well worth the extra money.

I am doing really well considering. My neck is so much better, but after hurting my knee in FL. I am signed off work for a week. I have to go to the fracture clinic on Friday.
