I just returned from a trip to Disney, January 19-24.
My travel party was just DH and I.
We did not have any issues with our Magic Bands. They worked fine to get into our room, into the club lounge at our resort, into the parks, and into the rides for FP+.
DH and I both commented on how much better it was not to be criss-crossing the parks trying to collect FPs. We were able to ride and do everything we wanted to, and some things we were able to do multiple times. The only thing we didn't get to do was EE and that's because it broke down during our FP time and it was our departure day so we did not have the opportunity to return later.
I used the MDE app to change FPs a few times. I made a day-of change once, and a day-before change twice. I didn't have any issues doing this.
We drove down, so I didn't use it for DME and I didn't use it to charge to the room as we paid for all of our food with gift cards.
I really don't have any complaints about the system other than I do wish the rides weren't tiered.
