My four year old grandson dropped his little stuffed animal (Goofy) off of the third floor balcony of our savanna view 2 bedroom villa at Kidani Village yesterday. It was in an area inaccessible to guests. It landed in a tall grassy area, so we thought it would be difficult to find. My daughter called the front desk & was told that there probably wouldn't be time for a cast member to look for it before our check-out early this morning. Much to our surprise, at 10:30 last evening, Goofy was returned to us. He had a bandage on his arm and a prescription from Donald Fauntleroy Duck, M.D. which said "slight injury to right arm" and that the PX was for "lots of tickles and hugs". When my grandson woke up this morning, he was so happy that it brought tears to my eyes. I have had fairly negative feelings about Disney in general lately, but this changed everything. Also, we had Magic Bands for nine family members staying in our villa, and they all worked perfectly during our entire stay. That was a relief, because our last trip we had nothing but problems.

I love it when Disney magic happens. :thumbsup2

FYI - there are security sensors and cameras monitoring the room balconies for falling/thrown objects. That may have helped them find Goofy. :goodvibes

:) What a sweet story, the medical touch was awesome.

love happy endings - thank you for sharing that sweet story :goodvibes

We have commented that the AKV staff seems exceptionally friendly. Great story.

Im sure that is one stay your grandson will never forget. We always hear so many negatives on the boards lately. I love hearing about the magical times.

What a lovely story. When my daughter was a cast member she was talking to a single mom and her little girl about their trip. They said the only dissappointment was not meeting "Alice". That night my daughter got an autographed picture of Alice, bought a Cheshire Cat and delivered it to their room the next day with a message that Alice was sorry she had missed them. Gotta love Disney Magic.

So sweet...and what a memorable experience it will now be for all!!!

Looks like at least some Disney people still have the Disney Magic in them yet! Hip Hip Hurray for the Kidani cast member who did this!

Disney Magic is still happening!!!:goodvibes

I always love it when I hear that Disney Magic is still alive and well! It's something that has seemed to be missing quite a bit over the past few years and I always feel just a little better about Disney as a whole when I hear a story like this.......

Love hearing and reading about things like this!! Thank you for sharing...
