I called to change our resort to POFQ and while the computer was updating the CM told me that she had a special offer. She said that it happens randomly and it comes up in red. It was for YC for 8/31-9/4 waterview for $2525. But I had to decline This trip is a "budget" trip and that price for 4 nights wasn't in my budget.


Any other time I would've jumped on it and it will probably never happen again. That's just my luck, lol.

Hmmm I'm trying to figure out how that is a deal. I assume you were quoted a package with tickets and dining? Anyway, congrats on the upsell offer....

What was the difference in the prices?

This was more a this is available type thing. I know they told me that they had a deal for 1000 dollars more for my 7nights we could stay at Coronado Springs and when I did the math it was the rack rate for the suite. It wasn't a deal, just a choice which I didn't want.

Was that supposed to be a special price? When I called to book a ressie a couple of months ago they tried to "upsell" me to a villa at WL but I wasn't under the impression they were giving me any special pricing, just an alternative to booking 2 rooms.

It wasn't a huge savings but when I priced it online the total for waterview 4 nights, 4 day hoppers, (free dining promo) it came out to $2840.75. So a little over $300.
