Now I'm doing the "Stress Puppy Dance"!
My PC hard drive crashed on Friday. Dead. Fried. I thought, OK, I've been running "Memeo Backup" and every morning I get a little pop up saying my files are backed up. Get a new HD. Go to run Memeo's "One Click Restore". It starts restoring files. Several hours later I go to open a file. It's not there. The restored files are all from the initial backup IN 2008. At this point, I've lost EVERYTHING. All reservations and confirmations, all emails, my VERY OCD Excel file with our park "touring plan". All the bookmarks to all the websites I've been checking and all the discounts I bookmarked. Everything.
The dead HD has been sent to a data recovery service. Now I just have to wait to see if they can get my stuff back for me. If not, I start over from scratch. Ugh. I know there's nothing anyone can do, but I posted because I know you all appreciate the amount of planning that goes into a WDW vacay. My friends don't understand why I need anything more than my hotel confirmation and flight info, which I can get easily by calling..... SIGH.....
